A forced breakthrough as it were. I've wanted to get to the point where I could get real likeness with a wire portrait. When a gentleman asked if I could do Lucy Ball, I said 'sure' and then thought 'OK how the hell am I going to do this one?' Piece uses 2 pieces of wire. I could have done it in one wire but a wrinkle would have had to been added to her face which I didn't want.
