Muffler Christ

After discovering a piece of muffler found in the middle of the road in St. Louis with an interesting opening, this piece was born when that opening fit perfectly over the Corpus of an icon print I was using for Stone Laden Smoke. The organ pipe came from the old pipe organ in St. Meinrad Archabbey Church after the renovation. I learned to play the organ with this pipe (among the other ones). I hope to get a better picture of this next time I'm on "the hill"
